Here the official release of FIRST REALLY STABLE FIRMARE for all ARGON SPI users.

http://www.infectus.biz/downloads/Argon-Wasabus-D2C2-FINAL2.0.rar

The package include the A3P250 and A3P125 version and both are really stable and finally we DON'T NEED ANYMORE ANY EXTERNAL OSCILLATOR ADD ON TO COMPETE WITH OTHERS TEAM!

Now we can concentrate all the power to improve the ARGON2 that will be here soon (about 2 weeks).

Bye for now

Damit, so no D2B soon? Don't get me wrong though, I like that it works now with D2C and D2C2, but I need some D2B support for the cut ones.

And is there going to be an add-on for Argon1 so that it supports the D2E too (so that we can flash it with the Argon2 FW)?

Hi ,
Just tested on D2C2 LEH188xxxxx works good! , Super Mario Galaxy on Maxell DVD-R media.
all old firmware versions drive was playing dead and now all works !

Oscar if this version can handle well with clock signal why we need oscillator ? or better to wait for ARGON2 ?
ARGON1 without oscillator will be supported in the future ? I am talking about 9 wire install. or ARGON1 without oscillator is dead end version ?

Well I'm impressed. Finally some good tactics in the PR.
No announcements, no expectations but just surprised. I'll give it a spin go for this evening to see how it works.

Oscar, can you clarify how you guys solved this CLK issue and were able to get it working?

Is 3.4 the same as Final 2.0 because 3.4 has some problems with older D2C machines:

LEH18xxx = D2C2 3.4 works like a dream

LEH16xxx = D2C 3.3 didn't do anything no matter what I did no blue light and machine acts as if its not chipped,

LEH16xxx = D2C 3.4 worked 1 out of 5 tries took 10 seconds on startup for blue light to come on only for a few seconds fails to read games LOTS OF clock problem, some times when you insert a disc it will insert little by little bit and blue light will flash, regardless what I did to the c wire, flashed with 1.1 and it worked normally(same machines as 3.3 machine above)

LEH14xxx - D2C 3.4 stable, 1/10 times locks up drive for a few seconds

Wouldn't it be possible to add an extra wire lets say SX to gnd ,if SX is connected to gnd use the old method of recognize the clock from C for the older D2c Machines

Tried the beta 3.4 last night with A3P125 on U-NTSC wii and the drive locked up, won't even let me eject disc. Do I really need to solder R to ground for region setting or is it region over ride which only needed if I want to play games from other region? I am asking because when R connected to ground, it shows spi as unknown when try reprogramming. Other than that I don't know what else was wrong as I have installed 9 wire D2PRO and Wasabi with same soldering points and they all work.
