Second day, still no news. I'm going for the D2Pro for the D2C2's.
It's out there, it's working and that's what I want. Simple.

infectus have to start learning how to promote their chips. They need better PR that's for sure.


1. Thinks about strategic actions before announcing stuff like 'we this, we that, on..., then...etc. And in the end not reaching the deadline
2. Someone who speaks and writes English fluently
3. A team wants to go pro, then go pro in every way (see my first 2 ideas above this number 3).

And this is feedback for the team and not criticism.

But waiting for somethine which is not coming, as promised, just pisses me off. I'm still supporting Infectus but now I need a solution for my customers. We live in fast times, we want things to happen fast. Not only me but especially customers.
So the better (and believable) option for me is the D2Pro at the moment.

I couldn't agree more, and I can’t believe it’s a lack of loyal beta testers because there are plenty of them (I look at myself  )

Important is that finally here we saw a WII working with the code, thanx to the beta testers we found some problems in the booting of games etc...
All things easy to fix...

Well I understand all the complaints on this forum about updates...
we wasn't here to sleep, but instead came here and write every 2 minutes tomorrow is better to came here and write I HAVE THE BETA WORKING IN THE HANDS

Today is the day...!!

Than about reasons to switch to other modchips!! I can only tell that soon we will came out with a new MODCHIP that bring us again on first place of the competition..

ONLY SUGGESTION! DON'T STOCK TOO MUCH D2PRO or WASABI... THE THINGS WILL CHANGE VERY SOOON
WHO WILL STOCK ARGON AND BELIVE IN US WILL NOT LOSE NOTHING, like ever... who will buy D2PRO now don't know if tomorrow D2C3 will be supported or need to buy again a new modchip... sure here will not happen

Remember that we aren't chinese peoples and back of infectus there is the STORY of console modding ...

Oscar, why do you ask only 10 people over the world for the beta test?
Everybody here want to test and help you. More testers you have, faster bugs will found.

I think the team want to release this D2C2 fiw has soon has possible, so a picking of 10 users in a beta testing will be fine ^^

The other large beta test would certinaly be while they'll release the new modchip (?) or the new Firmware (1.2 or 1.8 or both )

More precision in a couple of days (week ) certainly :p

I think he means a new universal modchip like Infectus or maybe a PS3 modchip.
I don't think this concerns the Argon chip, because he also says :

So from this we can conclude that the Argon will stay the same. Well, let's hope so, whahaha

we installed today and yesterday many D2pro green labels.
It seems all to work. But we find some little bug..
many Backups work. But some few backups dont work 100%
When we insert the backup it shows up and we can start it.
after a while we get a msg ( black screen with white letters )
Disc can not be read.. but the same disc works perfect in other D2c or D2b or DMS boards with other chips.
We will make some more tests and inform..  hope Argon team knows about that problems and brings out a good bios for argon chips.
The Serials of all wiis we insert the D2pro green label :

LEF 10149xxxxx  bought in Germany.
We will test later on some other serials like  LEH 183xxx LEH184 and 186


EDIT : Mario Galaxy original Works with all wii drives / installed D2Pro green Label. but backup not.

Mario Paper the same thing.

is this a BUG from the D2pro chips ?

i really really hope infectus get there act together , i like the chip and the 1.8 firmware seems flawless...ive already ordered a couple of d2pros for a couple of wiis......lets see what the weekend brings, and i very much doubt it will bring a new firmware for argon.....it wouldnt of hurt oscar to post on the infectus forums either on the day(4th) or before stating the problems....it would of looked better from there point of view rather than leaving it 2 days to reply...................

anyone have some good tutorial how to detect D2C2
LU567**** = is D2C2 like I know.
Wii's I have LEH188**** total 50pcs to mod ( this is D2C2 ) , ARGON 1.8 and ARGON SPI 1.1 not working.
ARGON 1.8 = cant read originals and backups.
ARGON SPI 1.1 = drive is DEAD , no sounds , not ejecting disk , not spin ( back to live when I turn off the chip W+R to GND ).
So looks like I need D2C2 update , beta is ok too ! customer can update final version himself by disk update, before all customers run away to install other chips. 

P.S.
Why there is no news in main page about D2C2 ?! and no warnings to customers??? I spend like 5h trying deferent Argons chips on this model

That's the way it works on this website. But it's still much better than the other websites of modchip developers like d2pro and Wasabi. On Infectus site you can find a lot of information and experiences from console modders. And also members of Infectus Team self supply information now and then on this forum.

I agree about support as forum , but why to mistake customers by writing all D2C Supported ?
I hope we will see any D2C2 update soon , beta or final I dont care.
