I've promised a guy from Cardiff that he can come pick up a modded console..

bla bla bla bla bla bla bla and some more bla

I have no choice now but to tell this guy that he can't pick it up (has travelled 5 plus hours on the bus to time his visit to london with picking up his new console).

Looks like you sold the beef before you sent the cow to the butcher.

Wait until its here like the rest off the world.

Infectus is not you're mama, so whining will not bring you the firmware sooner.

Please stop you're whining posting, its kind off boring to read.

Keep up the great work INFECTUS

K, So the 4th has come and gone..

No Firmware.

I had figured on this but was really really hoping that Infectus would pulli it off and renew my faith in them, but sadly here we are again wondering if and when they will catch up to the rest of the teams.

Now, I dont want to bash infectus. (I really dont!!) I have been a loyal installer of their chips for some time now but I have to say my faith is waining.

Im sorry Infectus but this is really make or break time. D2pro has already shipped the new "D2C2" chips and they work perfectly.
Wasabi has now released that they are shipping their all new chip that supports everything from the DMS to the D2C2.

And well all I seem to hear out of the Infectus team is one broken promise after another.

Infectus, I really need a reason to stick with you. No more bull, I really need a reason to keep buying your chips.

I agree for the most part, but unfortunately D2Pro still also isn't failproof : http://wiinewz.com/forums/d2pro/69227-d2pro9-d2c2-compliant-firmware-bugs.html#post536231

yep, as above, some reports that the d2pro isn't fool proof yet

don't know what to buy at the moment!

maybe infectus are working on this fix before they release the new firmware.

either way, its good to know that at least there are 2 teams that are alive and active and trying to help the community

props to infectus and d2pro

there is a newer drive that D2po v2 does not work on, a drive has been sent to them for R&D, which means maybe argon caught wind of this new drive and is delaying there release to get it working on the so called D2C3 drive.

These D2C3 drive are showing up mainly on USA wii's LU3430 and higher, there are numerous threads at wiinewz about his new drive.

That's my last time with 9 wires diagram Argon with 1.1 firmware dosen't work.
It's really better return on 17 wires diagram!

I have installed approximately 10 Argon-Wasabus 9 wires on Wii Pal without visible problems for me till now. I would want to understand if truly it is preferibile to install the 17 wires while we wait for to try new 9 wires FW. Which are in synthesis the problems that you find?

Chances are there is no D2C3: Westek found that the problems he encountered were due to a slight problem (easily fixable) on his D2Pro9 chips :

yes idog i saw your post on wii newz.....i was after some too but he was slow on replying and is now offline.....

dont look bad though for the price delivered........

as for the origa bros cracking the new d2pro....i think the software would of already been leaked....and you never know as its always been in the modchip trade...some sit and wait whilst others do the hard graft only for their code to be leaked....

Don't know if this is still relevant to you but 'he' has new stock this Monday. 500 pieces. I already set aside another 50. Seems there's a shortage in the Actel components right now, so it might be wise to do the same ?

just letting you know..

Second day, still no news. I'm going for the D2Pro for the D2C2's.
It's out there, it's working and that's what I want. Simple.

infectus have to start learning how to promote their chips. They need better PR that's for sure.

1. Thinks about strategic actions before announcing stuff like 'we this, we that, on..., then...etc. And in the end not reaching the deadline
2. Someone who speaks and writes English fluently
3. A team wants to go pro, then go pro in every way (see my first 2 ideas above this number 3).

And this is feedback for the team and not criticism.

But waiting for something which is not coming, as promised, just pisses me off. I'm still supporting Infectus but now I need a solution for my customers. We live in fast times, we want things to happen fast. Not only me but especially customers.
So the better (and believable) option for me is the D2Pro at the moment.
