Hi guys,
I think guys you miss to focus on IMPORTANT point, in a world made of consoles like WII, that are connected to INTERNET and where every few months have a firmware UPDATE... is so stupid to choice a modchip that is not UPDTABLE...
Honestly the winner is ARGON right now,
1- WII support is the same like D2PRO
2- Game Cube support is a little bit less than D2PRO... actually there are 15% of GC games not supported... and damn... WHO PLAY GAME CUBE GAMES RIGHT NOW!!! The most importants and nice games are working great.. on argon and is real in few DAYS we will reach perfection tooo
WHAT D2PRO DON'T HAVE IS JTAG UPDATE FEATURE, who is technical understand that the JTAG UPDATE of ACTEL is not to develope a stupid MICROCHIP PIC PROGRAMMER!!
Why release a modchip without any PROGRAMMER? Why don't show nothing about a software that manage the update???
Simple JTAG PROGRAMMERS (that normal costs like 2000 eur in the market) are a complex programming thing... not all teams are able to keep working a JTAG reprogramming system...
D2PRO release a modchip that right now is perfect only because they cannot release something that don't work, simple because they don't have a working update sysem...
RESULT OF THIS IS SIMPLE, WHO INSTALL NOW D2PRO NEED TO "PRAY" THAT NINTENDO DON'T RELEASE A NEW GAME OR A NEW FIRMWARE THAT NEED TO CHANGE THE CURRENT FIRMWARE OF MODCHIP TO WORK... in the past we saw what happen with MARIO GALAXY and all seams forget this...
I'm waiting only that this happen to LAUGHT in the front of one D2PRO user that will be FUCKED
SO FINALLY
IF YOU NEED TO CHOICE BETWEEN 20 GAME CUBE GAMES THAT DON'T WORKS AND THE SECURITY TO HAVE AN UPDATABLE MODCHIP...
THE INTELLIGENT CHOISE IS THE SECOND...
This is the correct and only point of view in this story...
INFECTUS team are working on JTAG and reprogramming system since 2 years, and the ARGON and INFECTUS2 with them programmer software are the CORE of the INFECTUS project...
PS: D2PRO sellers, what do you think about a PS3 firrmware on ARGON??? will be nice to see all WII ARGON DISTRIBUTORS UPDATE THEIR ARGON STOCK AND SELL THEM LIKE A FIRST "DRIVER MOD" FOR PS3...hahah but this is another story... probably a bullshit, probably not... only we have this information and I can only tell that many "shock" news will arrive sooon... veryy sooonn.

i did not know d2pro have so bad updating system
can you tell me more way it i so expensive?
argon for the winers and now gc is working and no need for d2pro
and to hell with d2pro and a argon in a week on the mail

The 1.7 firmware for ARGON has pretty much eliminated most issues with Game Cube Games. All my Game Cube games work.
Also users need to keep in mind of how the Wiikey has been pretty much tossed out due to D2CKey and D2Pro.
I feel sorry for DMA/D2A/D2B users that are stuck with a Wiikey that no longer has support. With the release of D2Pro I am waiting to see how long it will take for D2CKey support to go away as well.
I think a great addition for ARGON/Infectus 2 would be integration for DMA/D2A/D2B drive board support. i have no idea if this would be possible but I think allot of the older version Wii users would give up there first Gen Modchips for an ARGON/Infectus 2.
In any case keep up the good work and I am looking forward to future updates and add on support for the Wii modding scene.

I am in contact with a lot of users who want a modchip for their Wii.
And I always tell them to get an ARGON or INFECTUS2 like me!
When the first inormation of the D2Pro came out I thougt it was a fake?!?!?!
And now I would say about the info of their page something goes wrong with their chip because of showing so less info and so on.
Team Infectus instead handeld very well with publishing the Chip and giving new information to the user!
And the support here is too great!!!!!
If something goes wrong with the Argon only one week will pass and there will be a new firmware for it!!!!
Go on with your work as always done!!!

Just ordered 10 more ARGON!
I admit when i first tested chips with firmware v1.0 i had nicknamed the chip AR"MONEY"GON but now i am super impressed with the power of Infectus!
Still waiting for a firmware for my coffeemaker
Also did i read somewhere there was going to be a Ps2 firmware for ARGON ?

No you were reading about the rumors of a ps 3 firmware for argon No i am pretty sure it was PS2 becuase i remember someone else commenting on the post saying it would be a pretty expensive chip to use in a Ps2. Hey if they can make it do something for the PS3 i am all for that but seeing as there is no hack for the PS3 i would think it might be hard for infectus to predict they could make a firmware for it using ARGON. |

I was the poster that said it was an expensive chip Infectus mentioned it might be worked on in the future, but I'm guessing they're busy enough with the Wii and whatever their "big announcement" is. |

i mentioned this about the ps2 also, hence a rumour its very much like the sara modchip for the ps2 also created by the origa bros minus the ribbon cable, infectus said a convertion would be hard but they did not say impossible they know what the hardware and bootloader is capable of depends how they produced the loader for aragon but if a drive mod is capable for the ps3, ps2 should not be too difficult to realize seems the aragon is as flexible as the infectus 2 just a much stripped down version aka little bros mind the pun.
