Who is ready for Argon 1.3 ?

Don't try with "usa patched to pal, patched to jp patched and again for pal and so.... "

Our test are does on iso (take from our original disk) WITHOUT ANY REGION PATCH!!

So, if you have troubles with a patched disk , don't write here.

Remember to not update your wii with disk coming from other regions (BRICK!)

Edit1: I forgot... this is a beta version!!

Edit2: Cause different system, some games can not run on pal or ntsc console.

Edit3: The region patch is only on the disk region not on the game! ( BLACK SCREEN )

btw: all worked fine with 17 wires and 1.2fw on PAL Wii`s

PAL Wii game Super Mario Galaxy (Region PAL - No Patch) - Boots

And guess what, GC support!! But not full-region free...

GCOS disc (homebrew) - Boots
PAL GC Game Flushed Away - Boots
NTSC GC Game PacMan Fever - No Boot

So what to say but great results so far!

Good job guys! Now just a little focus on full GC support and I think you're done for the moment

EDIT: I had to put the PAL TV Settings to 60Hz instead of 50Hz to make the NTSC backup boot. If put on the 50Hz the NTSC game loads and then freezes.

Just a question about pre installing the 4 wires on a chip with the normal 1.0? firmware? Is this possible?

I'am installing argon anymoment now on a argon chip bought before 15 januari and would like to install those wires right away. But I dont have acces to injectus yet.

It works with fw 1.2 so I guess it won't be a problem with 1.0 either.

I am so happy to see that the 4 extra wires are easy to solder spots! I am not complaining now!

The GCOS disc booted under the old firmware as well. Can you please test a GCOS Multi disc with a couple different backups on it and see if the backups actually boot?

Hi,

Patched backup (with RegionFrii + WiiBrickBlocker) seems to work fine with firmware 1.2, and you don't need the 4 extra wires, and it's working with 50 & 60 Hz.

Is 1.3 already out of beta status ? I mean, the diagram is still in beta, but the 1.3 update itself has no warning on the downloads section.

To get this clear, does the argon with firmware 1.3 have 100% full import support? So no more heroes Ntcs works on a pall console? All the other modchips have not achieved this.

Could some one test this?
