uh.. how often do you guys plan on asking that same question today?
NO, the compatibility is NOT 100%, and never will be, because it is IMPOSSIBLE with a drive mod.

Maybe some admin should edit the Argon faqs sine it gets a lot of people confused. Saying a chip has a 100% working import feature obviously attracts tons of n00bs thinking it has a 100% import compatibility.

just sticky a topic with this kind of stuff, like

modchips should not be supposed to be able to patch every import game, this is not possible.
They WILL need an update sooner or later.
and so on.

Then nobody whould make that mistake, lock the topic and when another classical question pops up, put it in that topic, mark it as "must read" or something, and thiw will happen much less frequent

First test:

PAL Wii + Argon (13+4 wires) with firmware 1.3

NTSC Wii game Katana Samurai Warriors (Region NTSC - No Patch) - Boots
NTSC Wii game Katana Samurai Warriors (Region patched NTSC -> PAL) - Boots

PAL Wii game Super Mario Galaxy (Region PAL - No Patch) - Boots
PAL Wii game Super Mario Galacy (Region patched PAL -> NTSC) - Boots

And guess what, GC support!! But not full-region free...

GCOS disc (homebrew) - Boots
PAL GC Game Flushed Away - Boots
NTSC GC Game PacMan Fever - No Boot

So what to say but great results so far!

Good job guys! Now just a little focus on full GC support and I think you're done for the moment

The GCOS disc booted under the old firmware as well. Can you please test a GCOS Multi disc with a couple different backups on it and see if the backups actually boot?

Thanks! This sounds promising
Unfortunately I still can't get super mario sunshine pal gc to boot on my pal wii with 1.3 fw 17 wires. Still crashes at the red nintendo logo. Not that I care about that or any other gc game but a lot of people seem to do.

So. I mod all the Wii`s and tested some Wii`s with Wii Imports and GC games.

First: THANKS INFECTUS TEAM FOR THE QUICK HELP

I had to mod PAL Wii`s and all the NTSC Wii games that will load at D2CKey or Wiikey chip load also with Argon at 17 wires and FW 1.3

Now lets get full GC support.

Has anyone got an NTSC version of No More Heroes working on a PAL Wii with 1.3 firmware yet?

Please check compatability charts before asking here. It doesn't work with drive mods so also not with Argon.

Who is ready for Argon 1.3 ?

Remember to not update your wii with disk coming from other regions (BRICK!)

Please feedback.

I have a couple questions regarding 1.3 and 1.4

1.Should one stay at 1.2 if one plans to use RegionFrii??
2.If we use RegionFrii to patch a Pal Game to NTSC, is it safe to take the update the disc provides?  If it isnt safe, and the update occurs, does that brick your Wii?
If you do brick your wii, is there a way to bring it back to life using Injectus?
3.  How do you prevent a upgrade from happening?  Sometimes the disc will automatically do the update, without your control.

1) upgrade anyways, no sense in staying at lower versions.
2) no, the updates are not safe. they never are. make sure your wii is at the latest version always, you can try using wiibrickblocker on the iso to fix it, but that doesn't always work either.
3) updates never automatically happen, they always ask you to confirm with OK.
