ONLINE the new diagram BETA 0.9 version of "ARGON 1.3 FIRMWARE".

Finally are 4 wires to add for who want to play imports games with ARGON. The wires are optionals, like you see on the diagram we use 3 differents wires to recognize the console version, of course you need to connect only one of them to the chip according with your WII model (pal/us/jap), so no jumper on ARGON but differents position on pads.

we remember that IMPORTS GAMES SUPPORT is a a patch that can be compare with D2CKEY import games support, any drive modchip can assure 100% imports games support.

Diagram is available here: http://www.infectus.biz/diagrams/argon1_3betadiagram.jpg

Firmware will be online tomorrow for mass testing... we remember that DIAGRAM and FIRMWARE are in BETA RELEASE, in our laboratories works really well, we wait only results from final users...

Yes, of course. Just add the extra 4 wires outlined in the diagram above. The original 13 wires can be installed anyway you like.

Hi,

Thanks for the Argon diagram release.

What about Infectus diagram & firmware 1.3 (for Infectus) ?

With this update, we can play imported games without any risk for the wii ?
Is it necessary to patch the backup or not ?

Congratulations

hi gurus,

so am i right to say that point P/Q/O is a must and SX or Y or V will determine what imports you wanna play?

one last Quest is can i join point SX/Y/V altogether? hmm how should  i say. 3 wires is to 1 point from Argon to Wii motherboard side.

sorry. im an asian, dont really know how to say it.

no, SX/Y/V depend on what region your console is, not the region of the games. if you have an american wii, you only install wire SX, and it will play all imports (PAL/JP).

So If I understand correctly, these 4 wires do exactly the same a region patching on your pc before burning?

Or is the compatibility higher with the chip?

Then there will be no need to add the four wires for me, cause have to brick check the iso's anyway, and patching takes 20 seconds.

Thnx

I installed the extra wires on a PAL wii today with 1.2 firmware. Still all works fine. Now just wait for the 1.3 to be released.

@sattommy, yes that's right. No need for the extra wires if you patch you iso's.

I think it's best to wait to see what features the 1.3 brings and then update if you like. If you don't want the direct NTSC support, then don't solder the 3 wires.

If regionfrii has the same results as the new firmware and 4 wires, why do sooooo many whine about the Argon's region compatibility?    As sattommy said, it takes a few seconds to patch the iso.    For a sec, I thought I was missing something

Is the wiring the same for Infectus2? I thought the Infectus2 needed a different volts solder point.
