Connect your argon like in image (it's a bad temp schematic).

Download the latest programmer (3. and the Argon update http://www.infectus.biz/downloads.php .

In "Actel Firmware" select "JTag Programmer"  and program your infectus1/2.

In the end you will have in bottom left "Nand + Jtag" .

Now,  Tools -> OpenInfectus  .  Enable "Use external Jtag" , load the Argon dat file and do program.

You will have update argon with the new firmware.

This way is working with Infectus 1 and Infectus 2.

For a better solution with flat cable, wait for Injectus.

Hi,

Can you tell me if Argon firmware 1.1 is similar to wiiktus 1.2 for infectus ?
Is Argon firmware 1.1 compatible with infectus ?

Thanks.

Why this question? I don't understand what do you wanna do.

Argon need its fw.
Infectus need its fw.

Argon and Infectus are differents.

In my opinion, it will be more comprehensive to use same version number for Argon and Infectus firmwares (if they are identical; ie: if wiiktus 1.2 = argon 1.1, it's confused.)

Just a "little" fix , Infectus Programmer 3.8 Beta 2.zip :

http://www.infectus.biz/downloads/Infectus%20programmer%203.8%20Beta%202.zip

Like some one ask,  Argon update 1.1  is not renamed in 1.2.  IT'S THE SAME!!

Don't start a new thread/flame for this.

Argon update 1.2 is IDENTICAL to 1.1 , just renamed.

I'm very upset with my Argon.  Why even release a chip if it's not working?

You advertised Backups+Imports+Gamecube working, and after much frustration, none of these works properly!

Quote From MaxConsole:
"ARGON is the new MODCHIP made form INFECTUS TEAM that work ONLY on WII D2C CONSOLES, this modchip is the direct competitor of D2CKEY modchip.
All the features are the same of D2CKEY, but this modchip will be UPDATABLE!"

First you talked about making it even fewer then 13 wires, now you say need to add 3 wires for import support which is still under development.  My Argon 1.0 takes 3x longer to boot games then d2c, >50% of games freeze, no import, and no gamecube support.  I had my chip just 1 week and already needs update to fix first 2 problems.  You had advertised "UPDATABLE" but did not tell anyone at the time they had to buy a separate programmer (very sneaky).  Now everyone has to spend extra $25 to get a programmer when we could have gotten Infectus for less or even d2ckey which is known to work with all features.

I think you should offer this programmer at low/reduced cost to ppl who pre-order argon, or at least cover the shipping cost, as you did not deliver what you had advertised.  Now I have to spend more time to open & upgrade system after spending hours trying to figure out why games freeze and triple checking install points thinking it was an installation problem.

Also, does this update fix gamecube problem???  Or do we need to wait another month and add more wires for that too! LOL....

I agree, it's a bit of a sneaky marketing move. It's like buying a new car with all the options you saw in the showroom. After you drive the car home you notice not all the features are installed which you ordered. No cool rims, no GPS and your speed is capped to 80km/h. You call the guys and you say all these things and they come with the following:
- No problem, we'll be shipping later this week. You just need to put them on.
- No problem, we'll be shipping the GPS system somewhere over the next month. You can just plug it in when it arrives.
- No problem, we'll be shipping a speed uncapper, we just need the right firmware for you car developed but it's on it's way.

And imho this is NOT the way to sell a product.
Secondly I'm quite surprised of the prices of the programmer. It's half the price of the actual Argon chip. I know it costs money to develop but a package deal should have been much better.
In the end Infectus will get their money they invested anyway, it would just be a little longer before they get to their break-even-point. But now their name is just getting hurt by actions and prices like these.
Of course I'm happy with the product (that's why I'm reseller) but actions like these are not pleasing to resellers and their customers...

GUYS!!! ALL SAW WHAT HAPPENED WITH D2CKEY, first batch didn't work on a G2C D1A... this I think is more IMPORTANT BUG than some RARE freeze on some games...

All saw that many users fix already the problem with a simple trick, switch to 50Hz the video output setting of WII.

Anyway our project was tested and here worked, all asked stocks for christmas and we didn't find time to do a large BETA TESTING...

Anyway our project is UPDATABLE so you EVER will be sure that NOT ONLY NOW but in the FUTURE if something came out you are COVERED from our DEVELOPE TEAM and HIS FIRMWARE RELEASES...

Who is fucked is who belive in a D2CKEY project, PAY A LOT LIKE ARGON AND I will be very HAPPY when in the future a MARIO GALAXY 2 CAME OUT WITH A NEW COPY PROTECTION...

So pls. I hope that all understand that ARGON is more than a normal modchip, of course now many people need to buy PROGRAMMER, but belive me they will be HAPPY to do that in the future... new IDEAS and FEATURES will be added...

Anyway we are free to refund people that want to send us back the ARGON (of course hardstore direct customers), because I REMEMBER, THE COMPETITOR D2CPRO MODCHIP "CANNOT WORK WITH IMPORTS GAMES!"... so sure we are the FIRST and BEST CHOICE right now in the market...

We sold over 10k ARGON arround world last weeks, and here I see only 3 /4 people that complaints... is normal, but sure are people the "DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT HAVE A GREAT PRODUCT IN THE HANDS"

Hi Oscar,

I totaly agree that the Argon is a great modchip but that is not the issue here. If we wouldn't like the product, why buy it in the first place?!
And yes, the update feature is great and gives us protection for future problems. This is great, the complaints we give are not only ours but also from our customers.
Anyway, the issue here is that a product is being sold 'as is'. I'm only bummed out by the idea that extra work and the extra features aren't working in the first place.
Of course not a problem for the future, but it isn't the future, it's now and before the release it was said that it would be region free and 13 wires only. Now it isn't region free (yet) and we need to install more wires.
And yes, although there are just a few complaints, but that doesn't mean not to take them seriously? I think every complaint is serious and we need to provide service for everyone, no matter if it's one or one thousand.

This is not a flame, angry reply, this is just a view on doing healthy business. Giving Infectus a good name from the start, not a bad and then good. No, let's settle for good all the way right?

We get info from you and pass it on to our customers. We get info back from our customers and we need to deal with it. And since you are our provider, you need to deal with us
