hi i have been sent a homebrew infectus but i ordered a infectus i could program with wiiktus. i have emailed seller they ignore me i have emailed infectus by contact us page and no answer is there anything you can do for me infectus moderators. is it possible for me to send my chip to you for you to turn into a normal chip and not a homebrew one i would pay postage both ways. as it stands i have paid £40
($80 or  60 euroes) on nothing as i cant use it. very unhappy and no one wants to help me. some one please help.thanks colyn

Can someone tell me how to program this .dat file using the infectus software?
what buttons do i need to click.

Is it normal that the infectus with all wires connected except 5v and gnd will cause the wii dvd drive to not work?

Hello,
with the first firmware it freeze on smg. With the new 1.2b,
No freeze. 3 times try 3 times succes
The gnd is on board with welded wire slick 40-pin.

SECOND... who have for a mistake an INFECTUS HOME BREW in the hands need to ask directly to www.hardstore.com an exchange... the procedure is simple

1- REGISTER ON www.hardstore.com
2- SELECT ON THE LEFT MENU OPTION "RMA AND REPAIR"
3- FILL THE FORM AND WRITE IN THE NOTES "TO OSCAR: SPECIAL EXCHANGE OF INFECTUS HOMEBREW VERSION"
4- WAIT ANSWER BY EMAIL IN FEW DAYS WITH A PDF FILE WITH INSIDE THE LABLE FOR THE RETURN PACKAGE.

The customer need to pay the delivery charges to us, we pay the return delivery charges by express currier.

thank you oscarhs i really apretiated it. i have tried to contact my reseller for over 3 weeks now and they just ignore me.

My experience, with PAL Wii:s only, alt. point installs.
 


First of all, ground is VERY important with the infectus, check that one first if you run into any trouble.

The new firmware works better than the last one imo. I can boot originals and backups without a hitch (sometimes i takes 1-2 tries for the drive before it spins up and the game shows up in the menu though, dunno why this is happening.).

Overall its heading in the right direction, and i feel you ... i also run a modshop and its cra-ha-zie this time of year.

System PAL: D2C Infectus. Need firmware working flawlessly on PAL games. But I can't get any US games to work. Are they not supposed to work with this chip on a PAL machine? Do I need to do anything special to make US games work also?
