More people having problems on Pal consoles.

there is a lot of people..... originals only work if its inside wii when power on it.

I have ve booted original Wii Play without a problem, switched to a backup, booted it, went back to the menu and booted the original again.

Too bad that this is the only original disc i have .

i try on a pal version on smg back up->try 3 times->3 times succes.
I have not tried on the original because I reported the console
i will try original next d2c i have, and will informe u.

pasadeotros: My spanish is very very bad , but from page 22 , i don't see "so much" person with problems.  I see only one is saying to have rip its console, but who can say its installation was good?    Can you translate some of others post with problem?   
What's about your problem? Can you show a photo of your installation?

I was just pointing out that originals booted just fine! =) one of the persons before me wrote that they did not!

I have since my last post tried other original games and they all boot just fine.

So in short, great job and cant wait for the argon!

Hello,

I have installed my infectus flashed with firmware 1.2beta.
Original games work well, but not for the backup... 
The man who make the installation of the infectus (a pro) has verified each connexion and all are ok.

1) Firmware side:
I use "d2c1_2.dat" 79 881 bytes.
Infectus seems to be well detected in the programmer software.
After flash, I have all OK (PASS) and the soft displayed :
Wiinkja // Loader V0.27 // UNKNOWN(0000)
is it correct ?

Can I make a full reprogrammation of my infectus (Loader+firmware) ?
How to do that ?

2) Can my infectus be defective even if it works with the programmer software (PASS after flash) ?

3) Someone have an idea / solution, please ?

I think you have problems with your installation.  Can you post an image of your installation?

Have you connect GND with long wire ?

This can be the problem......

Thanks for your help.

For GND, I have wire of medium length.
I put some paper between infectus and metallic part of the wii AND
now, I use two small wires for GND on "Pedro point" and it's working for original and backup.
Sometimes the logo appears on wii TV but game don't work and error message.
Sometimes backup are not read at all and I have an error message : "eject disc and power off/on wii....". 
It's perhaps a problem of backup disc : I use Verbatim DVD+R and DVD-R burn @ 4x with Nero and a good LiteOn DVD-writer.

DVD-R seems to work better ?
