Thanks for the efforts man
I took your tip of wrapping the clock wire with ground and used it on D2Pro installs. No issues whatsoever. And for what it's worth.. you're right
Yes, same experience here with D2Pro. I first tried without wrapping the clock wire with ground and also that was working quite well. I inserted and ejected a disc 50 times and just once I had the EJECT issue. Now I have wrapped the wire and it didn't happen anymore. But I have to admit that it takes more time to now for sure that this issue is really gone.

Still no probs here as well. Seems like a solid piece of advise from Mabcom
idog, did you really never had an EJECT issue on any of the D2C2 Wii's until now, not even once ?

Still nothing. I asked the customer to mail me the instant he had problems, and no mail since. Time will tell if this is a true fix, but so far so good.

i agree with the above, but the examples used are inappropriate here....
... cut ...
This is possible I have mailed the first page found in English on wiikipedia in which it is spoken about ground loop and the possible effects. These are reported effectively to the field electricity and not electronic and the examples can not be shoehorns.
But it can be the base in order to deepen for who thinks that gnd it is gnd anywhere comes taken, is not thus in electricityc field but above all in electronics, at least on that I think you are in agreement ...

Ok, the reason I asked this, is because in first instance I had some EJECT issues. But
at that moment I didn't use the alternative points for D, E and F and I used just one GND point for the 'wrapped' wire. After that I tried the alternative points and I used two GND points and indeed all problems seem to have disappeared. Only thing I am wondering about is whether the alternative points do make a difference. Of course I can check this by soldering them back to the pins of the D2C chip, but I did not have the time to do this yet. I hardly can imagine it makes a difference, but on Wiinewz some people say it really does.
And Oscar, excuse us for using this thread also for experiences with D2Pro, but it can be helpful for Argon installation too. And you know, we prefer Argon, but we do need a stable and good working firmware before we can use your modchip for our customers. Do you have some good news today or maybe tomorrow...?

[trOLL]
Sorry but Wasabus was in beta 4 stage with complete support of D2C2/3.
Argon 9Wires is in BETA4 stage too, with the clock issue resolved with a quartz 50HZ tierce chipset. D2C2 support, free bug [/trOLL]
Just open a new post guy, people there don't want to waste time with post like that. We are overexcited, because OSCAR have to poste in few hours a new beta release, so have a nice day

Tommy,
Code is NOT OK for D2C2.
D2C is buggy as well, use only 13/17 wire/1.8 fw for that.
