Just updated to 1.8 still having problems with errors when putting the games in they do load  if you keep putting them in although my wii has done this on all argon firmwares been told its my wii laser... i use verbatim dvd-r disks

i had the same problem m8. every disc tht i put came as an error. my problem was tht i added the extra 4 wires n because wii is pal i needed to connect the wire to the point V but i had it connected to SX. Might be the same problem for yu (if yu hve the extra 4 wires of course) 
O yh some1 mentioned they had problems wit originals, but i neva had ANY problems wit originals not even on fw 1.2.

yes ive got the 4 region free wires cant be that because the games do load if u keep putting them in and so do ntsc games...

I was having choppy video playback on 1) Wario Ware and 2) Sonic + Mario at the Olympics. This problem has been totally fixed with the new firmware.

The FMV Intro's would lag very bad on all media: Sony DVD+R burned at 4X, Verbatim DVD+r at 4x and Verbatim DVD-R at 4X.

Is there any way you guys could add a DVD playback function to the chip? I know that Wiikey has some homebrew software that you can load. But this is Infectus...and anything is possible...

you can run the wiikey utility disc on argon too. it's not chip specific.

Hi Guys,

It would be better and better,

my last problems with 1.8 (125) on my PAL Wii LEH165 D1A-Board

1) Im ust break Mario Sunshine Intro !!!
If i play it regular, it comes the information, that i must pull out the GC bla bla ...

If i break the intor Movie between, press A its all OK !!

2) the problem, that the programmer must unpluged for 100% funkction.

For Example: If i want to Play EA Playground and programmer was plugged,
                  the disk don´t can be read, everytime --> blackscreen.
                  With unplugged Programmer no Problems, the Game starts direct !!
                  Same Problem at Need4Speed
