I have programmed my Infectus 2 with Wasabi.bin and wasabus12_a3p030.dat (usa version). I am looking to go back to Infectus 2 wiiktus1.8.dat.   What process do I need to follow? Do I just flash with wiiktus1.8.dat and it will be updated and/or do I need to erase then flash, and do I need a .bin file?

just flash it with the dat file. You don't need to do anything with the flash as it won't be used anyway by the wiiktus firmware

GC Eternal Darkness PAL works on PAL console with 1.8 without any patching..

Resident Eviel Zero PAL works too, but NTSC version on PAL console fails - black screen at load.

You guys should learn how to make backups..or stop downloading crappy filesharing stuff.
But Argon still needs some improvement, it's far away from perfection of ps2 modchips.

Some flat cables provided with ARGONS has problems of interferences if they are BENDED...

we suggest to don't BEND the cable inside the console and try to came out it without dend it...

This is the FIRST suggestion before test argon...

if the modchip give problems try to disconnect FLAT CABLE, if it works the problem is not FIRMWARE but the flat cable... you need to ask an exchange to this to your reseller, of in final case to our main distributor www.hardstore.com

bye

I've solved with insulation tape. In particular i've  isolated the pins of the flat cable. Provably the Antenna theory is true. In particular seems that the cable intoduce some noises even if it've not build defects.... What do you think?

Are you working on a fix so we can have the USB unit attach to the flat cabel.

More and more Infectus2 cant run Wiiktus 1.8 whith USB unit attach to the cabel.

Infectus2 Actel 125

Its like the Infectus2 and Actel 060 that wont run 1.8 and have to run 1.7 FW

programmer i used is the 3.9.3.0

Hello,

Can you tell me if the firmware of the 17 wires version will be update in the future?

For exemple, a revision for the D2C2 will be avaible? If a protected game come out, a new firmware will be release?

Thanks.

Fine, this thread answered some of my questions.

I'm facing the following problem:

Wii and chip are working properly with any kind of games, but after an undefined amount of time (maybe hours, maybe days) nothing goes with all games, original and copies, always error. The only solution i found (even after i was in the shop which built in the chip) is to flash the chip again. After this everything is alright up to the next "error-phase".

Anyone an idea, what went wrong?

tested Trauma Center: New Blood (NTSC) on a PAL WII with Argon 13+4 with 1.8FW:
recognizes the disc but black screen when you start the game.
too bad, patching the game doesn't work either.

Use freeloader and it will work.

+1 I still can't get Mario Sunshine to work. It freeze at the load screen with a little green line at the bottom left hand corner.

BTW, it's a NTSC iso on a PAL Wii.

Mario Sunshine works fine for me but mine is NTSC on NTSC(U) Wii.

A few things you could try...

Use a GcOS boot disc to boot the game.

Set the Wii output to 60Hz to play the game.
