The region free part does not work for my PAL wii atm, yes i'll check my installation (tomorrow).
Still works like it did before.

Ok regionfree part works now. One bad soldering...
Anyway... as far as I'm concerned it works for me.
Backups/Originals are working. (I don't have Paper Mario, but Super Mario Galaxy which works)
Don't have any GC game to test yet.

Hi,
I've just updated my Infectus2 with 1.4 firmware.
All goes well.
Is it possible that now the Wii check 2 or 3 times the disk before to read it?
I tried anly 2 disk quickly, but the impression is this.
Can you try and ask if the drive reset 2 times?

But one thing is a bit confusing in the diagramm. You just used the diagramm of Argon and changed the letters which belong to the Infectus.
But below the Diagramm you forgot to change to the right one.
There stands, that point "P" "Q" "O" and so on are not necassary only for playing import games, but on Infectus this points are soldered to the Drive-Chip.
First i was a little confused but than I compared it with the one of the Argon Chip and so I knew what was meant with it.
But all in all, GREAT WORK!
I am in many forums and everytime someone asks me which chip to take I advise the Argon or Infectus Chip!!!
But one question do I have. Has anybody tried it with the Miss-a-Leg installation? Because I wanted to use it. Or doesn't it work with this???

Ya the "P" "Q" "O" are already soldered from the original diagram. Its confusing to be honest...I have no idea what are the extra wiring and where they go....

Spocky17, I have my infectus connected with miss a leg install diagram and all works great
The only thing I found different 1.2 -> 1.4 is that before (1.2) all was perfect, now with 1.4 the drive is resets 2/3 times befor to go.
I have not added the 4 wires, because I don't need region free... it's a problem?
Now I do some other test.... my installation is perfect... if the tests are not good, I return at 1.2
Can someone try?
