I understand that Infectus is a OPEN platform for modchip (being able to support different environment..) and coupled with a jtag programmer and firmware, it can does wonders.

Whereas Argon is built specially for wii. For Infectus to run on wii, loading up wiiktus firmware and coupling with 13+4 wires to run wii.

I read about Infectus being able to dump out the firmware of wii (512 mb) so that developers can study on the firmware. I would like to ask:

a) Is the dump a complete 100% binary backup? (As a nand flasher)
b) If firmware is screwed up, can we recover back with the dump backup? (As a nand flasher)
c) I "suspect" that in the firmware of every wii, there's a OTP section which contains the private keys of the console which need to be authenticated before games can run (unless someone can remove/disable running of signed codes) Is Infectus able to backup/dump that area?

Can someone shed some light into my above queries? I'm keen to get an Infectus to try out the above items.

Thanks!

Cheers!

You are answering by your self......  if it's private, it's private.

and now i have some questions for you.....
a) Why no one answer to you?
b) Why don't read the specs on the site?
c) Why don't search in the forum?
