INJECTUS JTAG / ARGON PROGRAMMER is near to be available on the market.

This revolutionary programmer is very CHEAPER and is the only one in the market that support JTAG programming of ACTEL A3P family in a very easy way. Very HOT product for all DEVELOPERS of VHDL codes.

INJECTUS JTAG is provide with a very easy standard connector where all users can connect FLAT CABLES of INFECTUS PRODUCTS FAMILY. All ARGON users can use this little programmer to update argon firmwares simple connecting the ARGON flat cable.

Some users ask us WHY don't update the modchips by CD or DVD like WIIKEY...
Answer is very simple, with JTAG we have the 100% power to change anything inside the modchip, this allow us to release new unbelivables versions of ARGON firmwares that suppport for example FEW WIRES or new nice features.. WIIKEY didn't works on D2C console simply because a software update cannot change the logical works of the modchip, with JTAG solution we can.
Another reason was because with JTAG we can change completely the firmware of ARGON modchips, if in the future there will be a new solution for OTHER NEW CONSOLES not only WII but other BRAND TOO, we can simple release firmware and customers have in the hands a complete new modchip!!

Another question that we recieved is: is possible to update the modchips that aren't installed with this programmer?
Yes of course, the JTAG standard provide the power supply to manage the update of A3P LOGICAL FPGA, simple connect the modchip with FLAT CABLE PROVIDED to PROGRAMMER and programm them..

Street price will be only 15 EUR!
ETA is during week of 7th january

Here a preview of the new PCB of the programmer,

thanks

I'm a bit new to this, so how does this connect to the wii?  More soldering or do you just plug it in the usb port with a provided cable?

Also, how does it connect to your PC?  USB port?

Thanks

oh ok thanks

just wondering, does this mean we can't close up the wii if we have ARGON and INJECTUS going with the cable going out to the PC?

I'm pretty sure you can get the cable out of the wii case through some opening on the back. Like for instance the usb port opening. It's a flat cable so closing the case wouldn't be a problem.

Is'nt it possible to build the Agron and this JTAG programmer to one pcb?
Than, the only thing we need is just a mini usb cable or maybe we can take one of the onboard usb connectors from the Wii.
Just wishfull thinking

If I understand correctly that's basically what the infectus2 is:

[infectus2]---cable---[jtag]---usb---[computer]

Argon shouldn't need one as it is for installers.
It's cheaper (point of argon) to build an argon with no jtag.
If I have a problem (which there isn't supposed to be with argon) the installer has the programmer and he will handle the rest.

Injectus will be ready on  14 jan but for a sure 100% date write to [email protected]

* Infectus/Infectus2 is an usb+jtag programmer+fpga all on board

* Argon fpga only.

* Injectus is usb+jtag programmer for Argon

With one Injectus  you can program several Argon or other board with an a3p fpga for your hombrew code   ( like a generic actel programmer ).

I don't so much about the production. I'm here only to give technical support. Fill the form in home page to have these informations.

I upgraded to 1.3.  We have had a game (which normally freezes after 20 minutes) running for over 2 hours now with no problems.  The games actually seem to load faster too.
