we are sorry to announce that, because of a BUG, the INFECTUS 079KEY chip isn't compatible with firmware tipe 079FL (drivers normally inside the X360 elite version).

Our Team will provide to replace these chips to the customer that require this driver type. We also confirm that INFECTUS 079KEY work fine with the others firmware versions.

instead of losing time developing this piece of ...., why don´t you developt 79passkey for the infectus chip, i think with that sales for infectus will go high, but with this 79passkey piece you are only losing name in the market.
think a little, this is a critic constructive nothing more.

Any word on this yet? My 360 died a few months back and i plan to buy a 360 arcade sometime this week. I know im gonna end up with a 79fl and would like to use my INFECTUS.

079KEY version 1.2 in sold from september work 100% perfect with 079FL and allow same work of maximus solution with half price.

079key is available on our worldwide distributor www.hardstore.com and from many resellers listen in reseller page

I have 079Keys shipped from hardstore 30.8.2007. What version are these?

I used one on 79FL. The firmware checksum did not match. I used it anyway and it worked. I used Firmware Toolbox 4.5.

If I soldered the jumper then I got a warning message with code 6x (don't remember the last digit). With jumper open games work but have to press eject twice. First one closes the tray and after second press the dvd spins up.

I removed the 079KEY and then all is fine.
