1.41 UPDATE:

Hi, this time I wanna share an updated version of my PS3 NAND Programmer Tool:

Download: http://www.mediafire.com/?a2myuyemdv5

This version perfectly manage bad blocks, it successfully restored 2 PS3 of friends of mine.

Beware: Take a Cold dump before to reflash your PS3! Warm dumps doesn't works, at least with latest firmwares!

I also edited the Tool startup position in order to fix problems like the one had by dkp0h

NDT ;-)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Old 1.37:

Hi,
I'd like to share the Demo application tool i updated adding to it many functions.
Now it's a complete tool, not only a demo anymore, i tested it in read, erase and write modes many times thus i named it "Infectus PS3 Double NAND Programmer 1.37"

http://www.mediafire.com/?yybkexyuyjt

Added functionalities are:

- Regognition and automatic skip of bad blocks, both in erase and writing functions, from both the file dump and the HW NAND (this function is usefull for people that receive an error in erasing using the official infectus programmer).

- Operations are now logged into a file saved in the same Dump directory (InfectusLog.txt)

- A progress bar has been added in order to check the operation progresses.

- At the end of the operations a message box with a summary is now displayed.

LOL @ Ps3_user
I hope we won't need another version

By the way, what's you configuration?

I mean, PS3 region and type (USA?, 40 or 60?)
Infectus model (1 or 2) Actel chip (125 or 060?).
Have you ever flashed your PS3 with a your own infectus dump?

I had a problem while downgrading a PS3 to an older fw versione because of a bad block.
Since the official tool doesn't manage bad blocks yet i decided to update this tool.

I'd like to receive a feedback from all the persons that successfully wrote an older backup of his firmware on his console using infectus.
Please write me a PM with the details (Tool used, FW version, Console version and region).

Thanks.

I found out that the problem is that the screen appears at the very very right of the screen, and you need to setup a resolution of at least 1280x1024 to view it.

Correcting the initial position of the window when opening the program should do the trick.
