Are you infectus? Come one man, besides the fact I do not count on the promises made (I add up 1 week at least on the ETA's they give), it is not customer friendly that they ETA something and NEVER meet their those... |

but noone can see the future..
there are problems and they have to fix them..
when they got a working version they will put it online..
unless there is no really working version they wouldnt put anything online..
so give them the time they need to get it working..
if you think you could it better then do it..

I agree they shouldn't hurry to release it. Better make it as stable as possible. On the other hand maybe they shouldn't promise any release dates if they are unsure to make it. It's better to not name a specific date imo. You can expect people to ask about it.

If you promise a date you can expect (paying (that's what he 'gives' to the community..)) customers to start asking. And if you don't answer.. they will ask again.. and again.. And now you reply.. only to bash the guy.. and not even answer his question.. |

I'm sorry for few days of delay but the fw is been released. Oscar said "monday" for a fix, but if the problems are not fixed what do you want? A not working fw? For me is not a problem, but after don't bash and stress me if it not work. For the next fw, when it will be done, it will be done. No more date or timing about it. |

Usually if we say a date, we know that is possible. This time, we have fixed the problems but now there are others caused by the fix.
We are not hidding and not say wait wait wait. The fw are already present. Only wasabus for argon is not full fixed, but the others are ok.

Well I am waiting patiently for the FW to fix my tests above but don't take too long as I am running low on Argona and will need to re-order something soon...I don't want to order D2PRO but I need 9 working wires
ALSO:
What about the NEW D2C drives as the rumours are floating about that D2CKEY have cracked it??? Can this still be done on 9 wires as the NR Reader back door is removed or will it be back to 17 patching wires for this mod?

thanks for convincing me to buy a Different brand mod-chip, I can understand delays ,It would have been nice for an update to let us know there were problems with the FW after saying it would be released on monday. Its totally understandable to have issues and take longer to work on something. I'm sure we all can agree that we would rather have a good product over a buggy one.
But you guys come off very unprofessional asking a customer to give back to the community besides asking for your product ? companies should be so lucky to have a community member like that. Then almost giving him a smartass answer gives me a picture (maybe untrue) that this company is very unprofessional. remember having customers is what pays your salary.
so my advice for the future.
Keep the customers updated to what is going on with your products.
you could also decide to not cummunicate with the customer at all , but then you take away really the only advantage over the D2pro guys that you have. and that is communication.
and work on your public relations skills
I do wish you guys well. I can't even begin to imagine how hard it is to make a modchip. just work on a few things and im sure you guys will be fine.

Lets keep being little bitches and complain and complain. All your doing is taking time away that the team could be using to correct issues and get a final release out. Instead they are here arguing with those that can't sit their ass in a chair like a little good boy and wait till it is released.
Things would be no different at all if they never gave a release date in the first place. People would still bitch that the Infectus team don't keep their consumer base informed. But when they do give a target date and don't meet it your on their ass about it. If they then release the firmware and it has bugs you guys bitch that it never should have been released with those bugs.
Infectus can never make all happy and the best they can do is give a target date and work as hard as they can to meet it. If they don't meet it then they should ignoring those that bitch and also do not contribute. It just gets to the extreme that I guess they can no longer hold their tongues and then say things that well maybe they shouldn't but I totally understand why they do.
You can call it unprofessional if you want but no one deserves half the shit they get in this forum. They are human and doing the best they can for their consumer base. Which is more than what most other developing teams give.
