Dear customers,

we are very near to release the first GUI of INFECTUS / ARGON that allow DVD UPGRADE of SPI FLASH / PARALLEL FLASH on our products...

For argon will be a nice way to keep updated the modchip without use an INJECTUS PROGRAMMER... of course if ARGON cannot works on a specific new console, there is ever JTAG to cover all possible issue (thing that the wasabi competitor could only dream )

INFECTUS will accept DVD upgrade but of course for it is not a so important feature, expecially because there is JTAG USB connection builtin...
The new GUI interface will works not only for DVD UPGRADE, but we plan to manage with this GUI some things like DVD SPEAD, ENABLE REGIONAL SUPPORT etc...

Now the question is "WHEN WILL BE AVAILABLE THIS GUI?"

Well we are a little scare to release this GUI only because is very easy than to help competitors... they can easy reverse our update system and add this feature... so FIRST we will wait what happen in the scene, second we will improve our solution in the next weeks to be ready to release a very nice tool MORE TIMES better than only a simple update tool..

FINALLY ALL WILL ASK : INJECTUS WILL BE NECESSARY FOR THE FUTURE??
We think INJECTUS is very important of our whole project, new WII with new DVD CONTROLLERS will coming and only with JTAG we can cover the evolution of the market...
All ARGON-SPI have inside firmware ARGON 1.8, the only one stable and full working on all consoles... who want to load the 9 WIRES solution need to have in the hands INJECTUS...

So don't worry INJECTUS demand will stay good for long time, expecially because INJECTUS will works on new projects too.. hehe

The "some things" like DVD SPEAD, ENABLE REGIONAL SUPPORT etc... will be available for 13+4 users too?..or we'll need the SPI FLASH to use them..

Just my opininon but for the users of the 17 wire version you should create a GUI which allows the same configurable features as the 9 wire version. All the 17 wire people then need to do is upload the changes via injectus.

Both are the same level of difficulty burn a dvd vs connect a USB cable and update.

I'm not convinced this 9 wire offers any true benifit over the 17 wire version other then bragging rights for Infectus.

"scared" to release it because you think people are going to steal from you? should i repeat a quote you said?

Wasabi showed a video of their software, but I remember that is very simple to load a MOVIE on WII and show it like a software... sure with last problems on wasabi they will need to release asap the REAL proof of the update feature...

OK this was a mistake, wasabi have right to don't release the DVD if is not necessary, is what the CHINESE guys are waiting for...

so I admin that give this proof is very dangerous... after I spoke with the developers I understud well

Ehmm is second time that I repeat this, first on wiinewz... are you sure to don't be the same guy???
