Dear Customers,

we are happy to release today the final version of PROGRAMMER 0.0.3.9.
We added on DOWNLOADS area this nice ZIP file :

Inside this file you will find all is necessary to programm and manage INFECTUS2 and ARGON products... so a complete suite.

Here the principal new things in the new PROGRAMMER:

1- PROGRAMMER.EXE now have built in all the firmwares for INFECTUS2, included the A3P125 and A3P060 firmwares... simple choose on the menu what you want to program and voilaa...

2- ACTEL sent to all developers a warning again a BUG that is inside the library called DIRECTC... this bug cause problems in programming mode, we fixed the bug like suggested from ACTEL. This new version of programmer fixed CANNOT WORKS WITH OLD .DAT FIRMWARES.. so pls. from today who use PROGRAMMER 0.0.3.9 NEED TO USE THE FIRMWARES PROVIDED WITH THE PROGRAMMER.

3- Updated the JTAG programming process, now is more faster

4- Added the support of flash SST39vf010 (the flash of wasabi), who want to read and write this kind of flash need to replace the original flash of INFECTUS2 with this new one.

5- Now programmer understud automatically if is connect INFECTUS2 or INJECTUS

6- Programmer now recognize automatically what is the type of PLD/FPGA connected, and it select the correct firmware for programming. No more mistakes between firmwares. (this for infectus2, for ARGON you need to load manually the .DAT and take care about kind of PLD)

7- ERROR 65 reported on BENQ "trial firmware" application is now fixed.

8- IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY WARNING: The programmer 0.0.3.9 will update the INJECTUS / INFECTUS USB JTAG controller, after this update the old programmers will not works... the update is automatically started when you plug INFECTUS or INJECTUS to PC USB port.

Should that mean that we can solder the SST of a Wasabi on the chip and Dump and Flash them???

than it will be possible to dump and make homemade wasabi clones???

This version still doesn't fix my problem: When i disconnect the Wii's power cable the modchip somehow forgets it's program. After reprogramming it works fine again and i can play my copied games...
Thought it might be caused by me flashing it with a wrong firmware version. But if that's the case it would have been fixed with the new programmer right?

Sounds like you have some other issue other then the programmer.

If you used the wrong firmware you should get an error message stating "IDCODE of the target device does not match the STAPL file".

Plus if the programmer programed your Modchip then it has done its job. The Programmer wouldn't erase the firmware upon unpluging the Wii.

Double check your instillation of Modchip.

IMPORTANT REMEMBER!!!

1- WHEN YOU CONNECT "INJECTUS" TO A PC WHERE IS INSTALLED PROGRAMMER 0.0.3.9, THE LOADER INSIDE THE INJECTUS MICROCONTROLLER WILL BE AUTOMATICAL UPDATE... AFTER IS NOT POSSIBLE TO USE OLD VERSIONS OF PROGRAMMERS!!!

2- WITH 0.0.3.9 PROGRAMMER YOU CAN USE ONLY .DAT FILES INSIDE THE ZIP FILE, so YOU NEED EVER USE THE ARGON .DAT FILES STORED IN THE PROGRAMMER ZIP SUITE.

Pls. let me know if there are problems, here if we respect these two points all works well

The 3.9 programmer works with ARGON ARGON1.8-125.dat update. Loaded the DAT file and programed perfectly fine. Tested multiple Wii/GC Games and all are working fine.

on xbox360 with benQ we havo to do "Actel Firmware" -> "Macronix Emulator" -> "Update" or load 'emu_macronix1.1.dat' doing "Tools" ->  "open Infectus"?

tomorrow I ask to developers what happen, seams that update of INJECTUS faild or programmer cannot recognize your INJECTUS version...

The developers told me that the error that you recieve is that INJECTUS cannot recognize the MODCHIP connected...

Infact like you can see

"SPI PROGRAMMER LOADER V0.2" is the INJECTUS BOARD CORRECT RECOGNIZE
"UNKNOWN 0000" is the modchip connected to INJECTUS not recognized

Possible causes are

1- You connect INJECTUS to an ARGON installed on a WII, and you forget to turn ON the WII...
2- The argon connected to INJECTUS is not working propely

I can suggest to try another argon and see what happen, if is possible not installed on a WII so we are sure need to works
