Be that as it may, the D2Pro didn't copy the bugs..

edit : Let it be clear, I am in favor of the Argon (have done about 48 Wii's with that chip, even the 1.0/1.1 version in the beginning and I have a new order for 50 more on the way). I am just paraphrasing what customers start to wonder. And of course, I'm telling them that the D2CKey is crap (not updateable) and that the D2Pro is a ripoff of the Argon, but now the D2Pro is actually here, they start questioning my arguments. Telling them to grow a brain wouldn't be good customer service on my part, now would it ?

Sense of humor, sure. Got that as well. But disregarding the question (i.e. not giving an answer) doesn't make me smile

We have released the 1.7 only 4 days ago.

Few days reading the report and every one say it's working nice and the most problems on gc are fixed.

The only actual issues are related to ntsc/pal conversion.

The previous question appear like a stupid question. He don't want a new version with new features or other things, he wanna only a new version. Is not important for what, but he need a new version!!


Anyway, fw 1.8  is ready to release today.

I think that the "Your first post is a good joke!  " written by Infectus was more like a "..for now we are thinkin about solve issues..the 1.7b is just released.."..than a "..we wont never release a final versione ha ha ha!! (diabolic laugh)"..
..you can simply tell you customers:"D2Pro is more stable right now (my curiosity: have u compared it?..can u tell this for sure?) than Argon..IF IT'S TRUE..but the development of Argon updates is surely MORE EFFICIENT..and if u surf web there's a EFFICIENT Forum u can join.."
..it's the true and u wont insult ur customers..no?

Wii backup's and originals don't run.
Others not tested

update (PAL, 13+4, 3.1E, FPGA_125):
- download 1.7b again
- Reprogramming
- unplug the power for 20 sec's
- power on and ...
* originals accepted,
* backup accepted (Vebatim DVD-R and also DVD-RW TDK),
* GC originals accepted,
* NTSC-J SSBB accepted,
* WiiScubber backups accepted

Since upgrading to f/w 1.5 I cannot convert PAL games and play them on my NTSC wii.

It seemed to be fine in 1.3.

the problems are related to gc games only. Wii import games work fine on any fw 1.3 or up

personally it feels better to stay with one that have support. till date, i do not find and forumers posting abt D2Pro... is it really that good, or they do not have a forum for them to post.

Infectus team are a helping lot of people. Kudos! way to go.

well, seriously i have no much complain about the firmware since 1.6.... say, i buy a wii to play wii games only.

thumbs up Team! no rush for me but am always looking out for new firmwares as you all always bring great leaps for improvements.
