that sounds more like a read error due to bad media or a bad rip.

On my NTSC (USA) Super Mario Sunshine it gives a disc read error at the end of the Intro when the Professor ask Mario to get some assistance.

If I boot the same Game Disc with GCOS it will pass that part without giving the Read Error.

So it is not an issue with a bad burn.

For people who want to run 480p mode for GC games and get a green screen.
On GCOS select NTSC mode (Y) and after that press B, and the game will ask you if you want to use progressive.

Did you try all video modes in GCOS? Try booting it with PAL 60mhz.

Yes, I have tried all video modes. All my NTSC games only work on NTSC video mode (Y)

I said Fire Emblem Path of Radiance is working. If you would take the time and read the complete post you would have read that I have a NTSC(U) Wii with a USA game of it.  I will get different outcomes on games then you since you have a PAL Wii.

So before you open your mouth and claim someone is wrong make sure you yourself know what your talking about. Even if it was a PAL game on a PAL Wii it doesn't necessarily mean I would be wrong or anyone else is. Maybe your doing something wrong or have a bad rip of the game. It isn't like your the king of testing and if something doesn't boot then 100% it is not working.

A better way of going about this would have been to find out who claimed it was working and ask them how they booted it. Instead of telling them they are wrong and telling them how to test a game.

GCOS is a homebrew game booter (Game Cube Operating System) which has also been adapted for Wii to boot Game Cube Games.

Any idea when you planning on releasing a 1.8 final?

Just looking for an indicator of days or weeks.

If you working on FW 1.8F ,

Fix the problem, that the programmer must unpluged for 100% funkction, please

For Example: If i want to Play EA Playground on my Pal Wii LEH165 with Dc2 D1A
and programmer was plugged, the disk don´t can be read, everytime
                  blackscreen.
With unplugged Programmer no Problems, the Game starts direkt !!

In the German Forum on Gulli Board a few more have the same mistake with a few
other Games, too.

With best Regards

Nevertheless, an estimate to when a final version of the 1.7b will be available would be nice. You don't have to go mock around everybody just because they want a stable working version without problems. (first installs of D2Pro are appearing on the web now, not a single problem mentioned with that chip.. customers are getting curious as to why there are still some problems with the Argon fw..).

edit : And as Oscar requested... I'm more than happy to 'stay with you', but when you're starting to laugh at people for wanting some reassurance, it's getting hard not to order just a few D2Pro's for comparison..
