Since I was following the guide I found out that it was flashed with the 02mod after the fact.

As for the guide it specifically walks you through the installation and then once it is installed it has you power on the xbox360 and update the software. Assuming that all these chips come shipped with the same software 02mod preflashed, how is someone new to this particular device to know not to hook it up.
Guides are there for a reason, and if it is going to hold your hand and walk you through it, it should do it atleast in the right order/direction.

Must be nice to have all that common sense, maybe next time use some of it and do a little bit of thinking and re-reading before you jump to a conclusion.

Well, im glad to hear theres been progress and we have a new date to look forward to but I didnt hear anything about the eject issue. I actually just experienced it today for the first time with a d2pro and man its annoying!

Oscar, any news on the eject issue?

Hmm.. think you missed a part in Oscar's post :

Quote
Today I spoke with developers and finally we found the problem of the RESET issue...
Miss a piece of code injected that we discovered only today and this is what is necessary to give the correct functionality to driver after the EJECT of the disk.

Tonigth I have installed an Argon normaly but when i test it, the Wii don´t start read, it quiet, but when i reset Wii, it start read normaly. if i want to Wii read the game , i need to reset it, Why?, What´s the problem?. I have installed the last version Wasabi 13 (1., and i´m using infectus programmer 0.0.3.9. The program process is normaly. What´s happen?, Why i need to reset the Wii to read a game?.

Much thanks, and i wish that anybody know the soution. Much thanks again.

P.D.: When installation process finish and i press on "update" i obtain an error memory address. Sorry for my bad english.

Another problem that take us a LOT of time is the CLOCK...
Like all can see ARGON hasn't the 50Mhz oscillator that is there on D2PRO and WASABI.
Because our principal target is to support our OLD users and give EVER a guarantee that NEVER ARGON or INFECTUS will be OLD... we worked HARD to give a stable code with the only clock on the motherboard of WII.
Finally we found and solve the noise on CLK signal and now we can release a sufficient stable code...

we are thinking for the future to add the oscillator in the next revisions of ARGON, this to allow FAST release of updates for the future and don't lose days and be crazy to develope a code without it.. if we will follow this way, we will release a for sure a little ADD ON for old argons that will add the missing oscillator on the old ARGON's versions.

To be more clear:

1- Argon will have soon a stable D2C2 code
2- New production of argon quite sure will have oscillator on board, and for old argons we will release an add on with oscillator.... this to allow a fast release of future codes (D2C3 is here, and we want to be super faster this time to release a code for it)

Oki for now that's all... see u on monday and have a nice weekend

BYE

He and then i haven't even played with the ARGON SPi
and already predicted this outcome
i knew it had to do with the clock gonna play this weekend and see what results i can get

Good prediction MABCOM

The infectus will allow you to dump and reflash your NAND (firmware chip). It will NOT allow you to play backups. IF a custom firmware comes out one day, you can use the infectus to flash it to the system. Due to Sony sueing companies that make and sell modchips for any Sony system, development of PS3 modchips is slow to nonexistant. Don't ask if/when there will be a PS3 modchip for backups. NOONE knows.

cheers for keeping us updated.

this wii that has been on side in room for over a week in pieces, might be getting put back together on Monday or Tuesday then.

thanks again, and hope this release works.

dont bank on putting the wii back together nxt week at all...lol.....

if its like they say and it needs a oscillator to perform correctly it could be a while yet......

still havent touched my programmer....might stick it on ebay if an older wii comes along ..i can install this one i have left then...

Hello

I have used the Infectus Programmer (ver. 3.9.4.4) to programm my argon (a3p250 + spi).
First i tried wasabus 1.1 and programming (FPGA + Flash) was successfull, blue led on argon is on. Because i ave a d2c2 board i tried the beta2 which don't work.

Now my problem is that i cant flash anymore. everytime i get an error "Write error at 0x00000000" when i try wasabus 1.1 and "write error at 0x0001a500" for beta2 / beta2.5.

It only works wihout "write varify" but i think it isn't successfull because no led is on when i try wasabus 1.1 (before it was on!)

my argon is installed when i'm programming but i tried it also without installation (only programmer connected) -> same result.

what happened to my argon / programmer / flash ?
Programming the fpga works fine (i think), only the flash prog. goes wrong.
can somebody help?

some screens:
