Once you have got everything turn your console ON, connect Infectus to the USB port and start the software!
 

This tutorial show you how to READ and WRITE the internal NAND FLASH of X360:

We will show you how we backup an XBOX360 with firmware 2858, and after we update it to 4552... with infectus we will bring back it to 2858 in less than 15 min!!!

Important! Before beginn the procedure we need to remove a resistor on the X360 motherboard. You can see the picture here, the resistor is on R6T3 place on the board. Without this resistor we turn off the power of EFUSES that normally don't allow DOWNGRADE on X360.

PROCEDURE:

1- Disconnect the power cable of X360

2- Reconnect the power cable of X360 without turn on it

3- Connect the USB cable of INFECTUS to your PC

4- After the INFECTUS is connected the PROGRAMMER on PC will show the name of the NAND flash, in our test is HYNIX "XXXX" like the picture. If you don't see the FLASH ID this mean that there are some problems in the INFECTUS installation or you are working on an unknow flash (right now we saw only one kind of flash inside X360)

5- Select READ (the reading of flash is necessary to backup your current firmware before UPGRADE, in this case we dumped the v.2858)

 6- Select where place the BIN file of the current DUMP procedure and after wait the finish of the operation.

7- Now you can proceede with the UPGRADE of your X360 from 2858 to latest version of dashboard (in our cases the 4552). (see the youtube video)

8- Now, after you checked the UPGRADE is correctly done (in the info page of the dashboard you can check if there is correct 4552 version), we can proceede to reconnect X360 with INFECTUS to the PC. Pls. repeat the first steps but INSTEAD "READ" command than use "ERASE" like show here belowe.

9- When command ERASE is finished we can proceede to select WRITE

10- Select the 2858 firmware that you have previusly backupped

11- Now, pls. wait the finish of the writting operation, disconnect the power cable of X360, the USB cable from INFECTUS and after you can reconnect the X360 on a TV and see how INFECTUS downgraded successfull the X360 again to 2858 dashboard

ATTENTION! the infectus when is connected to PC by USB have the controll of the NAND FLASH, if you try to turn on X360 with infectus connected you will have only a BLACK screen.. this because X360 motherboard cannot access to the BIOS NAND FLASH that is busy with infectus!.
