Once you have got everything turn your console ON, connect Infectus to the USB port and start the software!
Select “TOOLS”, then “WIZARD”, and a new window will be opened:

Infectus can be mounted on different console models (X360 , PS2, WII). In our example, we are mounting it on a XBOX 360, so we select the “XBOX-360” item:
Infectus configuration for Samsung drives:
Now we have to select the drive type mounted on our console, in our case "Samsung", and to select the item.
Samsung mounts 2 kinds of firmware
, MS25 e MS28. To know what is the one mounted on your drive , check the image below::
We have got a Samsung drive with firmware MS28, so we select “TS-H943 MS-28”
WARNING: on Samsung drives, to allow a working configuration, at this point you must turn on your Console to configure the modchip correctly.
Now we choose the Firmware to build on the Infectus Flash (we choosed Extreme 5.2C), and we press the "Program Button".
The configuration process starts!
If everything is ok, at the end the software will give this result.
Instead, if you had some configuration problem, please ensure yourself that your Console
was turned on during the whole configuration process, and if you are still getting problems check out all of the installation steps.
Infectus configuration on LG/Hitachi drive
Start the software and execute the first two steps that we described in this tutorial.
Select your drive type, in our case Hitachi:
Just like in Samsung drives, you'll find out that there are many different Firmware versions;
to know which one is mounted on your drive check it out (see image below):
In our case we have got a Ver 78, so we select “Ver 78”.
