TUTORIAL FOR INSTALLING AND PROGRAMMING THE INFECTUS 2 WITH WASABUS

For mount the own chip we must have :

- A Wii COnsole with Chipset D2C

- a Chip Argonc that we can buy on own sponsor Hardstore: CLICK

- the soldering at 11W whith Tip thin at 0.5 mm max 1 mm

- the wire pond at 0.6mm o lower but is reccomended the pasta pong

- the autoEject AWG 30

- the Pasta firm

- Braid absorption pond

- tape

- cable USB type A/MINI B for programming the chip

If we want working good we must have :

- A magnifying glass

- good manuality

- Steady hand

Opening the console.

How we can see there is 2 method for connect the chip on own console, on of the top port of the reader PCB is one of the top parts of the PCB

Choose the method that we prefer , i have prefer the alternative soluction

MOUNTING USING THE ALTERNATIVE POINTS

For first position the chip how is position in this photo:

For start with mounting using the alternative point we must remove the PCB of the reader , for do this remove the screws 1 and Undocking the flat present on 2 . Be careful with the lens of the flat is delicat:

Afer Upside down we have PCB on your hands , the important zone is reported on this photo:

Start with mount the wire follow this scheme . I would remind you that the alternative point are used for not mount directly the chipset D2C of the console, the six wire Remaining must be connect on the top parts of the PCB:

After we have the PCB of the reader we must connect the point U with the little cable possibile. Use the tape with chip for Avoid courts. At the working end the situation is this:

Now we can remount the PCB of the reader follow the steps that we have doing for Disassemble

Connect all the point on the base of the own scheme:

Connect the power and the flat cable need for update the chip , use the wire and power little and connect the point U with cable little possibility. At the working end the situation is this:

Now position the flat .... do lip up the MemoryCard port nad released from the rear USB port:

For working correctly the programming interface of the chip Infectus must be connect and the switch must be setting on the base of the region of the console :

- Setting Switch 1 and Switch 2 "OFF" for PAL CONSOLE
- Setting Switch 1 and Switch 2 "ON" for the USA CONSOLE
- Setting Switch 1 "OFF" and Switch 2 "ON" for the JAP CONSOLE

The mounting of the chip is finish , we can update it : I would remember you that in this moment the chip dont work beacuse we must programming.
