TUTORIAL FOR ISTALLING AND  PROGRAMMING THE CHIP ARGON

For mount the own chip we must have :

- A Wii Console with Chipset D2C
- a Chip Argonc that we can buy on own sponsor
Hardstore: CLICK
- the soldering at 11W whith Tip thin at 0.5 mm max 1 mm
- the wire pond at 0.6mm o lower but is reccomended the pasta pong
- the autoEject AWG 30
- the Pasta firm
- Braid absorption pond
- tape
- cable USB type A/MINI B for programming the chip

If we want working good we must have :

- A magnifying glass
- good manuality
- Steady hand

Open the console

How we can see there is 2 method for connect the chip on own console, on of the top port of the reader PCB is one of the top parts of the PCB

Choose the method that we prefer , i have prefer the alternative soluction

Original mounting points Argon

The scheme below refers at new version that support the Import Game for working required the programmed chip with version 1.3 o to with firmware for Argon

How we can see one of the point must be connect on the base at the type of console do you have :

- if we have Wii Pal connect at the point "V"

- if we have Wii USA connect at the point "SX"

- if we have Wii JAP connect at the point "Y"

Alternative points on the back of the PCB for the installation of Argon

The 4 Additional point for the the Import Game must be connect follow the scheme below

For start with the installing remove the PCB from reader, for do this Unscrew the two screws "1" and Undocking the flat present "2". You remember to special attention with the flat of the lens that is Very sensitive:

Once you upside down we merce with the PCB in hand, the area that interests us is shown in the photos:

Start with installing the wire , Since worked on the contrary I recommend you to mark points To recognize after.... at work end your situation is this:

Reposition the PCB And dedicate the positioning of the chip, i have try with Various solutions, the best is One in the picture....
Clamp the chip on tape (picture Refers to the installation without additional 4-wire game for import)
:

The power supply of the chip and the mass Need a little clarification, i for power it i have used the on wire AWG 30 double ant the mass I direct the flow casing of the reader (the pictur refer at the installation without the 4 additional wire for the game import):

Connect all the point on the base According to our scheme, connect the power and the flat cable required for update the chip,
The advice I can give you is the used theCourts wire and power Courts
:

If we have decided to connect the wire directly on the chipset the final result will be this (how we can see i have used a little variable for place the chip ):

I have slip the flat below the carter protection and the Memory Card Reader:

With this method the flat is easy to reach , not prevents and is not visible beacuse is protect from the side door of the console:

Now Use the tape with the flat remaining:

Close the console how we can see the work is now finish:

The installing of the chip is now finish , we can update , i will you remember that the Argon can be update with 2 method:

- with programming Injectus that you can buy on own sponsor Hardstore: Click
- with the Chip Infectus 1 o Infectus 2 that you can buy on own sponsor Hardstore:
Click

Investigate both methods alone, there already that when adding to update Argon via Infects must disassemble the console and the chip.
