Hi GUYS!!

Finally released last version of 079 KEY 1.2
This version support all HITACHI DRIVERS incl. "FL" version!
Same specifications and pinout of old version.

BE CAREFULL because there are BAD clones arround!!
Dimension 1.7cm x 4.5xm

Other specifications:

Start Drive in ModeB automatically
Enable Software Reading and Flashing
12 Wires to Solder
Suppors all models of Hitachi 79 drives
Onboard disable jumper
Status LED connection
Upgradeable

I have a 079 Key but when i read the firmware then the flasher tool say that my checksum is not ok.

Have anybody an idea what is wrong?

What's the polarity of the LED when installing.

It is not indicated on any of the documentation I've been able to find.

Can you be more specific , I think I may have one of these clones. The chip is in a socket and pics here don't show a socket. The thing is also huge compared to a Passkey, it's 3cm x 4.5cm. Are the dimensions mentioned that of the original or clone?
