TUTORIAL FOR INSTALLING AND PROGRAMMING THE INFECTUS 2 WITH WIIKTUS

 

For programming own chip Wiiktus we must have :

- The final versione of the Firmware for Wiiktus that we can download on the Infectus official webiste

- The final version of the Infectus Programmer that we can download on the Infectus official webiste

Connect the Infectus at the USB Port and start the programmer ( if is required to update the loader of the chip allow it ) :

 

After we have finish the update of the loader of the chip close the programmer and setting the switch on the base on OFF , reset the programmer and go to Actel Firmware and select WIIKTUS:

 

Now select UPDATE on the ACTEL FIRMWARE and waiting the programation :

 

At the end of the programmation remove the external interface of the programmation and try the console

 

UPDATE the Firmware WIIKTUS not present on the PROGRAMMER

The devolpment of the Firmware Wiiktus not travel the same of the Infectus programmer. Must be need update the firmware with new not present on the program , the firmware must released on the download section of the Infectus official webiste or directly on Infectus Forum

For load it on the chip , open the programmer and go to "Tools\Open Infectus":

click on the LOAD DAT button and select the Firmware of the own chip :

After we have loading the Firmware click on PROGRAM

- If there is a error type "The IDCODE of the target device does not match the STAPL file" power on the console and retry

Waiting that the program finish

At the end of the programation we can remove the external interface of the programmation and try own console
